We were delighted to raise our second Green Schools flag, granted by An Taisce recently for Energy efficiency. Well done to Ms O Brien and her Green School Committee for leading the way to help us use energy wisely and reduce our carbon footprint.
Promoting acts of kindness this Lent.
This Lent the children are urged to carry out daily acts of kindness. The school is also supporting the Trócaire Lenten campaign and the children are asked to give a little if they can, to support the great work of Trócaire.
Team Sports Return
With the recent lifting of restrictions, we are now able to participate once again in some school competitions. Mr Fahey and Mr Cusack are busy with football & hurling teams for Cumann na mBunscol, while Ms McCarthy has a school basketball team entered in the Limerick City School League.
We wish them all the best as they progress through the competitions.
