A fond farewell to Mr. Carey

Mid June saw the staff and students of J.F.K quietly practising for a show that we hoped Mr. Carey would never forget!

The boys took to the stage to perform Mr. Carey's favourite songs and poems and gifted him with a set of golf clubs that we hope will be put to good use!

The Parents' Council presented Mr. Carey with an apple tree that was planted on the school grounds followed by a reception in the glorious sunshine.

Mr. Carey thanked the students, staff, parents and Board of Management for their valued contribution and support over the past six years, reminding us all that it is the people who have made J.F.K. such a wonderful school.

We wish Mr. Carey the very best in his retirement.

Go n-éirí go geal leat.
